Surviving Your First Night

The first night is the deadliest moment for new players. Build shelter before dark.

1. 1Chop ~25 Wood with your starting axe.
2. 2Craft a Work Bench and place it; craft a door, walls and a Torch.
3. 3Build a small 6×4 house with a door and background walls before the sun sets.
4. 4At night, stay inside; craft a Wooden Sword and bow if you want to fight at the door.
5. 5Use the Guide's recipe lookup: drop an item into his chat to see what it crafts into.
