King Slime
An optional early boss summoned with a Slime Crown. Drops the Solidifier and ninja gear parts.
King Slime is an optional pre-Hardmode boss you can fight very early. Craft a 
Slime Crown from 20 
Gel and a 
Gold Crown (or Platinum Crown) at a 
Demon Altar. He can also spawn randomly in the outer thirds of the map during the day, or be summoned from a 
Slime Rain.

Strategy
- Fight on a flat surface; he hops in predictable arcs, so strafe under his landings.
- Use ranged weapons (
Boomstick, bows) — the Ninja spikes he throws are easy to dodge. - On the
Drunk world he appears tinted purple and is slightly tougher.
Why fight him
- Drops the
Solidifier, a station that makes Slime furniture and the useful 
frozen slime blocks. - Drops
Ninja Hood/
Ninja Pants used in 
Black Belt / 
Tabi builds. - An easy source of coins and the
Slimy Saddle mount.
